George Mason University's Fairfax campus is located just outside of Washington, D.C, and is Virginia’s largest research university. This campus is conveniently located within easy access to I-495 and I-65, and is situated in a beautiful suburban neighborhood.

George Mason University's 677-acre Fairfax Campus is situated on beautifully landscaped land with a large pond in a suburban neighborhood. Only 20 miles from Washington, D.C. the campus is easy to get to via car, bus, train, and plane. The university has recently invested in many updates and renovations, and campers will enjoy the school's newest amenities, such as the Exploratory Hall for Science (new in 2013) that boasts an astronomy observatory and telescope, along with the Art and Design Building and newly expanded Fenwick Library.
We play as hard as we work, and George Mason affords campers lots of options to Get Unplugged for the complete summer camp experience. With 3 fully-appointed gyms, an aquatic center, and stadiums for indoor and outdoor track and field, baseball, softball, tennis, soccer and lacrosse, there's never a dull moment on this campus. Fun fact: the campus is recognized as a "Bicycle-Friendly University" by the League of American Bicyclists.
Mealtimes offer something for everyone, including diners with allergies or dietary restrictions. Selections include made-to-order dishes; salad, smoothie, waffle and dessert bars; vegan and vegetarian dishes; halal selections, gluten-free and allergen-aware dishes; and campus-grown greens and produce.
Overnight campers are grouped by age/gender and live with counselors in air-conditioned suite-style residences with shared bathrooms.
